I agree with some of you -- who ever they send to review the car needs to do their homework before posting these videos on YOUTUBE.  The 2010 Audi S5 is still a 4.2 L V8, and if it's not well...Audi is still charging the $1300 gas guzzler tax on them. I was just at an Audi dealership today looking at them and this uninformed recent college graduate DOESN'T have all his fact right!!

They didn't change the S5 V8, but they did change the S4 from 4.2 L V8 to V6 supercharger BECAUSE the U.S was the biggest market for them and with PREMIUM gas going over $3.40/gallon there was an added gas guzzler charge that wasn't there before so Audi's profits plummeted, and so they re-thought the engine design to meet U.S road regualtions in order to avoid gas guzzler tax, all the while increasin their sales of the S4 market!!

I have on hold the rs5 for when it comes to states, just in case. It's set up diff. The car has no understeer, Says the fguy driving it. He looked like Tanner Foust driving the r8(v8) around the track sliding full power except the rs 5 is .3 faster than the v8 r8.

Boring review!! I have a Audi s5 v8 in phantom black, black interior with carbon fiber and B&O sound system. It's a great luxury sport coupe! The interior is pure quality. Beats the heck put of my old 5 I replaces it with. The faceplate buttons are cheap plastic which break and crack in the winter. The upholders are cheap plastic that snap out fr dash and get stuck and break too. The v8 sounds amazing, and keeps all the powe around corners at crazy speeds without braking loose. It's a great car

In the UK the S5 Cabrio is £43,160, the 335i Convert is £42,700, negligible difference.

The S5 has 333bhp and gets to 62 in 5.6s versus 306bhp and 5.8s for the 335i.

The S5 has a usable back-seat (not so for 335i and M3), it has a decent boot not having the hard top, it's a newer model and therefore more exclusive, and above all in my opinion it looks nicer.

For the above reasons I am awaiting delivery of an S5 Cabrio.

I love this car. What I love with Audi is that they value practicality and DESIGN over pure performance.

Very very few people actually will think this car is slow. If you do, you're lying to yourself. Plus, most people will not drive a bmw 335i and be able to tell the difference between the two.

Plus this car looks soo much better than a BMW, offers tons of luxury, better interior, more room in the back and in the trunk and offers staggering performance.

Bmw is great, Audi is greater.

@mutsicelanders11, the $70k price range on this car is correct. I paid $67k for my 2010 S5 from Rusnak Audi in Pasadena, CA.

I chose comfort, over performance. A buddy of mine drives an '09 M3 that he paid $72k for, but he's all too envious of my S5's interior/exterior, Navigation, and B&O speaker system. Only thing the M3's got on my S5 is performance that would go unused as I'm not into street racing, or race track driving.
