@PyroGamer321 Randal Flagg, aka Walter o'Dim, Marten Broadcloak, or John Farson (The "Good Man"), is a sorcerer that shows up in many of King's novels. He does the Crimson King's bidding, and in case you don't know, the Crimson King is the ultimate evil in the universe. It's a lot less complicated if you read The Dark Tower series.
Jamie Sheridan seems to have had one colorful acting career to go from Stephen King's take on the antiChrist to the captain on Law and Order Criminal Intent.
I read that they might do a movie remake. I hope not, they would cut so much out. If they really wanted to to a decent remake they'd do an even longer mini-series, or short TV series.
Man, this was a huge let down. Where was the classic line: "HEY BOBBY TERRY, YOU SCROOOOWED IT UP!" Not to mention in the book the judge gets his head blown off.
@MsEli92 Ya i felt the same bout him, Harold too cuz in the book his social problems are due to his weight problems, i grew up the fat kid too and i can totally see snapping like that lol is that wrong? :P
Some plan there Abagail. That's what happens when you send an old guy to do toughguy work. You should send the best, the brightest, the strongest, the meanest.
i just love how the first time Flagg says "I told you not to mark him" he's like "Aww, dude, c'mon.. why didn't you do what I said", and just a moment later he's like "I'M GONNA F***** KILL YOU!" lol
in the book "The walkin Dude" turns into like a scarecrow and devours this guy, and the jude's teeth and head are blown off with the .45 he's shot with.
@jgrakowski You know. Stephen King helped write the script for the movie. Right?
I agree, the book was much better, but, generally, they always are. Anyways, it's a 1,553 page book (the uncut version, which, everyone will agree, is so much better). If they made the whole thing into a movie, It'd have to be at least 9, 10 hours long. Though, don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to see another Mini-Series of The Stand, like, done over the space of a year. That would be amazing!
Boy that Judge sure is a sneaky one. Just not very agile .

@MsCerealKiller The plan is to do a movie trilogy, which if every movie is at least 2hrs, will be the same length or longer than the miniseries.

sabuinthahouse 10 months ago
@sabuinthahouse in the book he says, "oh bastard," because he realizes he is going to be killed.

in the book Flagg eats him alive apparently over the space of some time. i wonder why they cut that bit? lol
gustozest123 2 years ago
@gustozest123 It was a made for TV miniseries, and on USA (or was it TNT?), not HBO. So they had to edit some stuff.
