  • John Lennon da Silva WHAT?

  • beautiful piece. When artists come together this is what you get. Lord thank you for the creativityt that both artists brought tothis piece. Thanks for something different

  • Shit, look how he moves at the cello

  • fuck the black swan

  • Perfection !!!!

  • at...33 seconds...did somebody in the video say "this is weird"

This is very, amazing for all the ignorant people commenting btw.

  • wow, it's insane how it looks like he's floating and not even on the grown at some points. skill.

  • the black swan

  • @carpetim literally, the black swan.

  • @Triangle, You're right, i'm pretty negative and presumptuous on this one (and most of the time) and i sure hope ur right and that the audience is not here to see the "street kid do his little dance with the comunist genious doin his genius thing on the cello". I do no. just seems to me this show have this kind of vibes...like in a spike lee joint...

  • talent apart, imho, it look like just another blackfaces show...white people getting aroused by colored people doin there stuff for white people...you've been bamboozled by the media !

  • @SylvainJusteShine if I'm reading you right (and if not, please feel free to clarify), but you seem to begin with the assumption that the organizers and the audience are racist and there to watch the "street kid do his little dance" ... if that's your starting point, it's pretty negative and presumptuous on your part...

  • Comment removed

  • @SylvainJusteShine This has nothing to do with him being black. I would think it was equally good it lil buck was white.

  • i have watched this over and over again and i am still amazed

  • Quite possibly the greatest thing I've seen all year (so far) ;)

  • the crowd is lame!! :D

  • Beautiful!

  • I'M RACIST AND I AM OFFENDED

  • Am I racist???

  • Yo-Yo Ma should do a funky version

  • Im a cellist and a BBoy. Yo-Yo Ma played beautifully, and Lil Bucks footwork is incredible. What a great collaboration!!!!

  • Wow, er ist voll drinn!!!

  • Genius. a blend of worlds is always good

  • stop hateing on him he's fly and amazing at what he does so wut if its not original a bunch a diffrent crap poot 2gether 2 make a new. its how u move on 2 sumthing better jooking is his he made it so back off and let him do him

  • that move a 2:35 was crazy

  • at 1:19 during his spin, there is something pink on the bottom of his shoe. is it like felt or something to reduce the traction of the shoe's soles? i've been practicing gliding for awhile and have wondered what kind of shoes optimize the kind of fluid motions in this kind of dance.

  • @ben567567 No, its just the design of the shoe. Those kinds of spins(as you can see in the video)are done on the tips of your toes. Practice your glides over gravel or concrete so you force yourself to glide instead of relying on sliding. This will also fix any weight distribution problems that slow your glide/make it look choppy

  • @ben567567 its just a colour on the sole of his shoe not anything to reduce friction or anything haha they just nikes XD if you want spins like that keep doing what your doing, shoes or anything you wear won't make you a better dancer, you make yourself a better dancer :) )

  • unbelievably amazing.

  • Wow Yo-Yo Ma live & in person as your music to dance to...that in itself is amazing! What a beautiful collision of two worlds!

  • cool now i want to see "B-Boy" showing their true musictality :)

  • I don't take anyone seriously that has "Lil" as their first name. Yo Yo Ma...now THAT'S a true hardcore rapper name if I ever heard one.

  • Just saying the only thing "Original" about the style of JOOKING is the name. That's like me mixing Swing dance and Ballet and giving it a name and saying I did it first so it originated in North Carolina. This guys is a good Popper with AMAZING travels and creativity and deserves all that he recieves as he perfects his craft......but to call it its own style is to me rediculous. Why can't the creators of traditional HipHop styles of dance get any credit in the dance community? This is why!

  • @franticmotionz to answer your question just check out the videos on here that are related to Jookin and you'll see that in Memphis the STYLE of dance has its own flava worthy of giving it its OWN NAME...and don't get so caught up in the word "original" there's is nothing completely new under the sun....dance is included...It adds to rather than takes away from the ORIGINAL POP LOCKING FORM...be blessed.

  • Don't want to take Way from this man's talent...he's super talented. However.....I need someone to explain to me how JOOKING is any different than the same complex travels created by poppers mixed with simplistic tut and ARM and wave patterns also created by poppers. These movements have been done since mid to late 70's and most originated in California. I could analize and pinpoint the exact moments and movements and find Poppers and BBoys who have been doing those moves long before JOOKING

  • @franticmotionz actually jookin is gangsta walkin. what you saw here was not really jookin. lil buck is a joker, but here he was simply showing his versatility in other styles. look at some actual jookin videos and the difference is clear. the foot movements are what make jookin what it is. hope that explains it better

  • @BBell1988 lol joker should be jooker. auto corrected haha

  • @franticmotionz JOOKIN is a style born from the dance refered to as POP LOCKING. It was given its seperate style name by Memphians because it grew from a Memphis origanal dance craze called GANGSTA WALKIN'. What you see the young man doing here is just a natural evolution from the 70's Pop Locking form...no need to analyse or pin point. Here in Memphis, we just are proud of our young man as he represents US in front of audiances as far as China, New York, Chicago, etc.

  • he's awesome... the way he moves his body is unreachable for me... what a talent! hate racism!

  • Simply & Utterly Beautiful!

  • wow

  • Interesting, normally the dancer feels the music, but this the musician feels the dance.

  • tht fuckin spin is deadly

  • wooow

  • this is just beautiful

  • 3:10 - excuse me while I suck my own dick.

LOL jk. I wish I could move my feet like a turfer

  • Amazing balence

  • love

  • This is awesome, hard to dance to in the first place if the waves and fluid movements weren't there. Great job.

  • 3:10 impossible to any other

  • 2:35 my god

  • wonderful duo

  • this guy is actually taking ballet, or has taken ballet. You can see a video of you talking about that, and even showing him dancing at his ballet classes

  • such balance and such grace

  • That is true movement talent!

  • I find this hard to fap to

  • well, they never taught me this in my ballet class.

  • tipy toe man XD

  • holy shit that was dope

  • 2:55 move is unbelievable. Amazing dance and music.

  • These people commenting and saying racists slurs. Its Why our generation is failing. In their minds, their is no equality. They're not dancers. They're wont understand the Art we talk about in dance. Any style of dance can be art. It takes time to learn. It takes your whole mind, body and soul to continue dancing. You guys just wont understand, because you, never experienced what dancers have.

  • @NightSilencerX77 thank you finally some one who understands art instead of saying something and not having aa clue what they are talking about

  • @NightSilencerX77 i agree with you fully brah, being a dancer myself, i can say you have jus spoken for us all. thank you

  • @NightSilencerX77 Your atrocious grammar and defence of decadence is why our generation is failing.

  • @NightSilencerX77 I act for a living, and get paid pretty well to do so. I put in hours, and read scripts and all that junk. But what I go through on a day to day basis is nothing like what a dancer goes through, they are highly under payed and extremely artistic, they paint a lasting impression on the canvas of your mind using their body as the brush. Dancing is a pure form of self expression! Dancing is art, art is dancing. I wish I could do it!

  • wow I was just thinkin about this video for the countdown and you put it in.

  • 2:35 That is all

  • Amazing colaboration. Congratulations both!

  • Absolutely beautiful! I can't believe all the racist things I'm reading. Maybe I can. That's what's so sad about people.

  • Forget Edward Norton and forget Kay, I was sent here by Dance Magazine!

  • Gorgeous footwork and excellent movement. He truly is the Black Swan. And for all you haters, I'd love to see you try to dance as beautifully as that. That shit aint easy!

  • OMG, he is the black swan

  • nice video :)

  • I sometimes wonder if I live in an alternate universe when I read the posts on the these forums.

    fdafdadful

    TheFaid

    ForteX24

You should quit hiding behind anonymous usernames and have to identify yourself if you want the liberty of using free speech to cast hateful slurs and racist remarks.

  • @ForteX24 noooo lol it's just two artists collaborating

  • Niggers gonna nig

  • Displays like this, from the performer's side, are awkward and unceremonious. He is somewhat at a loss for improvisation the whole way through, and people are basically expecting him to outperform himself constantly. It's a sham. I say this as an artist by the way, so you don't think I'm some sort of philistine.

  • stupid

  • Only in a sick, degenerate, Jewified society can such a performance be called "art."

  • @coxg90 Blissful ignorance.

  • Comment removed

  • Absolutely disgusting

  • Hey , Join my Channel and tell me what do you think about me and my dance ! Thx All :)

  • katy perry has nice tits

  • amazing !

  • What the fuck did i just watch? O.o

  • @MrDragonflamez this is the first time I've ever logged in to say anything but I can not stop laughing at your comment

  • Godly

  • transcended! my man took memphis jooking, a dance style really only scene in the hood or most urban areas and took it to a whole new level. appreciated by people who would have never before seen it

  • niiccceee!!!

  • Doesn't fit

  • The Swan, Camille Saint-Saëns

  • I'm a little confused. Is he dancing to the music, or is the music being played to the dance?

  • @skittletube They are creating art together - reacting to *each other* and inventing something totally new and artistic as they go along. It is something that only the purest artists can do at this level.

  • @apollo1742 Just to be honest, this is based on a particular piece and choreography [The Swan]. It's not improv as you seem to suggest.

  • @Kinnishian it is :)

  • @LILBUCKDALEGEND It's seriously cool though! I really respect your skill/art. [This is what I forgot to also mention in my first comment about 'The Swan'].

  • 1,337th.

  • Anyone know the name of the piece Yo-Yo Ma is playing?

  • That is true art.

  • @OWDezhnyuk Thank You at least there one good comment. I bet most of the people who had negative comment cant even dance a two step.

  • @datdude1108 I know!?

  • It's even more awesome that he's dancing to The Swan, Camille Saint-Saëns. Anybody who knows the traditional ballet usage of that song will find even more meaning in his dance moves. So cool!

  • fits like my fist in an anus.

  • DO THIS!! Pause the video and open a new page on youtube and type in "Waves beach sound" it will be the 4th one down then go back to this video and start it he looks like hes the ocean with many waves!! pluss the violen and the waves sound amazingg!
