Chickens are put on a conveyor belt and are electricuted, which is hardly nice, and beef are not killed too dissimilarly, they are stunned (granted they are stunned) and then they are bled after having their throats cut, same with pigs

As a matter of reference, most japanese don't eat whale meat either. It's just too expensive.
And dolphin meat is indeed sold as dolphin meat, mostly in rural areas.
Traditionally, it was and still is consumed by women, after they've ad their period, to compensate for the blood loss they suffered during their period.

And if it was tradition, why didn't all those interviewed in the film say that dolphins have never been hunted, only to watch them for entertainment. Man is an aggressive animal, the most aggressive and destructive. That said, a-lot of these men grew up doing this, to them it's just another day at work. Ever hear of men that went off to war and were horrified at first? They killed and felt terrible about it, but then did it again and again and again etc., until it became the norm. I love animals, I love life and what it has to offer, but it's not always pretty and in some ways, it's quite brutal.
