I wouldn't overlook this colt or Dunboyne Express in the English or Irish 2000 Guineas. Aidan O'Brien knows that Zoffany has talent, and he prepares his horses for those races as well as anyone. The big talk in Ireland seems to be about Pathfork, Dubai Prince, and Casemento. But Zoffany is certainly more than capable of winning a major G1 race, IMO.
Impressive run by Zoffany to reverse the form and get the better of a very talented colt in Strong Suit. Zoffany's listed to race at Newmarket in April in the Tattersalls 3yr.old Trophy. If he run's well in that race? I'll be curious to see if Aidan O'Brien uses him as a Guineas horse? Or if he tries to stretch Zoffany out to 1-1/2 to race him in the Epsom or Irish Derby?
Whichever O'Brien uses Zoffany for in 2011? The 2000 Guineas or the Epsom Derby? He's going to be extremely tough for anyone to beat. Keeps improving, and looking stronger race by race.
