The only reason they won the 08 championship is because all of tebow's weapons around him. Every single starter besides tebow was a nigga that ran a 4.3... Tebow gets too much credit. If you disagree, you can just go jerk off to some Tim Tebow highlights.
This is the equivalent of theU thinking of a plan like this - There is a large contingent of Boston area students who choose to go to the University of Miami (nice weather, good school, etc.) Maybe the Canes should hold a Patriot Day to pander towards that demographic - The Patriot/Canes Fan. We celebrate the championship Patriots during halftime of a Canes game! Great Idea (sarcasm)

FIU asked UM to play a friendly game at their new stadium because they're from miami too and they said no. IMO i believe UM feels somehow intimidated cuz FIU has a great team this season and won a championship last season. FYI I'm from Miami and i never been a dolphins or canes fan :-)

Come on now... I think we are just tired of having a decade of very bad football. I still love them, but it wears on the fans after a while. As for the empty seats, it was halftime and many Phin fans were not in agreement with Mr. Ross' - dumb ass idea to honor Tebow on the stadium the Canes play on. I love Tebow because I am a Gator and I was happy he got the win. Miami fans are not all bad. I can think of worse fans out there~ Like auggator66... If you're a Gator - REPRESENT!

This was a weak ass marketing ploy & a terrible idea 2 honor the opposing quarterback & his team on your own field. That'd be like the Pitt Panthers honoring Rutgers at halftime at Heinz Field. It's a sad day 4 your org when u have 2 resort 2 honoring the opposing team in your own house in order 2 sell tickets. I'm a Steelers fan from Pitt btw.
