It's so true about finding a workout that you enjoy doing. it's so DUH.. but you never really stop and think about why you dont like going to the gym or working out & finding a simple solution to it lolz THANX heaps
Love this vid. Your so spot on. I can vouch for everything you said. What really hit home, well the 2 things was 1-Just because ur thin doesn't mean ur fit. 2-As u work out u start cutting out foods that disagree w/ you. I learned so much about my body when I got dedicated to working out religiously.
oh =) SURE! i use the contour ab belt. i used it every day and HONESTLY ON ALL THAT I HOLD HOLY....i saw results in 2 weeks!! i could see definition forming and was going up in the intensity of the 'work out' on the belt. keep in mind i kept up of the cardio n strength training so i was burning calories as well that way. whittling down the fatty layers around the tummy too ;) so it was likely it showed much more cuz of that
soreness usually lasts 2-3 days after your initial workouts BUT THERE'S A TRICK to beating the soreness =D....u gotta KEEP working out EVEN while sore. say u do strength training one day next day (WHILE SORE) do AT LEAST 30 mins of light to medium intensity cardio =). KEEP THE MUSCLES moving and in action and you'll have less intense soreness and be sore for a SHORTER period of time ;). TRUE STORY!!!
I totally agree on the "you may be skinny but out of shape." I am on the skinny side petite) but totally out of shape. Ugh. You have a hot bod girl. Does your body still gets sore after working out for a while? I worked out twice n OMG, I was sore!!
haha thanks for the tips, and yeah i can so relate to you! I run cross country and i have days that i run for up to 2 hours and then i just get lazy but i do see results but i need to be more consistent. and plus i end up hurting myself.lol oh gosh Congrats on the 4 pack :]
there's a couple different ab belts on the market and they'll all run about $200. u can find them online. i suggest reading user reviews to choose one for yourself. i MYSELF use the contour ab belt. i LOVE it...it kicks my abs' ass all the time LOL
i basically started eating a lot leaner....still ate the things i loved but chose healthier versions of it. i DID cut out fried food a LOT tho. that's just NOT good AT ALL for ur body. and as u work out you'll notice it makes u feel terrible. i started choosing low fat options of the things i loved n really paid attention to keeping my portions sensible n not OVEReating.
yeah...no one believes that u can be skinny and still unhappy. i was mostly unhappy with my fitness level n lack of good muscle. so i decided to change that for myself ;). i feel so much healthier and proud of the shape i'm in. cuz i ACTUALLY had something to do with it ya know...not just genetics on my side LOL. but i worked for my muscles ya know =)
i bought the contour ab belt. ordered it off an infomercial but u can find it online =). oooh during a workout tho would DEFINITELY be too much. i do it seperately but it works WONDERS!
carbs aren't SO bad as long as ur conscious of how much u take in vs how much/often u work it off with exercise =). i'm addicted to breads (crackers, cookies, bread, pancit noodles LOL, rice). i still eat carbs daily...i'm just more conscious of my portions period. everything is ok in MODERATION and be aware of ur portions. as long as ur physically active n burn it off...it's not too big a deal. fried food is STILL a NO NO tho
Youre lucky! MOST not all of course but most Asians are small not necessarily skinny but they tend to have a smaller bone structure and a faster metabolism. More and more people are becoming overweight in this country, myself included. Im only 24 and I wont tell you my weight though because its no ones business. I personally would rather eat a bunch of junk food and die at a young age than eat a bunch of healthy food I don tlike the taste of and live into my 90s. Thats just me though.
i'm not gonna lie....eating healthier does take a bit of effort. but honestly, there's so much yummy healthy food out there! and seriously....half of the reason to work out is to be able to eat the junky shit i wanna eat. cuz i know i'm putting my body thru it's paces to get to a point where i can handle a burger n fries now n then without shocking my system or doing crazy damage
oh plus...for me it's about liking my body as well. i used to say the same thing....i'll never watch what i eat (cuz i didn't really need to then), i'll just die young and happy cuz i ate n lived how i wanted. THEN i started seeing the effects of the food on my body. i wasn't so happy then....and really it's about being happy and satisfied in your own skin. i happen to like me in a muscular, toned skin hehe =)
i find that working out and staying consistent is a source of pride for me, which is a source of confidence =). it boost energy levels...it's a mood elevator FOR SURE. proven fact!! and if ur happier and healthier it makes other things in life A LOT easier to deal with =). just a thought
THANKS -- you're inspirational!
