Actually upon further research; on the 19th of December, a type 1A supernova was observed. 1A is a binary star system, (binary meaning more than one) A smaller dying white dwarf siphons off elements from the neighboring star. once it reaches 1.4 times the mass of it companion, it explodes. in retrospect what you (or whoever shot this footage) actually witnessed the violent death of a nearby star. Congrats on it.

Doesn't look or act like any star i've seen. I vote for it being a UFO, or more specifically: a space craft from a nearby planet, piloted by our 'Space Brothers'.
