just duplicate it if you only find one you throw the diamond on the floor and then save and quit and then join pick it up and then count to ten and then press alt and f4 at the same time and you quit so then you go back to minecraft and then you join your map and the same amount you threw will be there

Ive got an beter idea to ensure you find at least diamond!

Make it by yourself. only problem is that you can't do it with TNT because sometimes, it destroys the minerals.

@Cool32216 Dig 2 in width, mine one at a time and if you see lava then don't go. You should stand in the middle so you don't fall.

Very unsophisticated. First of all you waste a lot of your tools mining down through the mountain when you could start at the base. Also going back up to the surface means wasting tools to get back down. Branch mining is way more efficient

i know why they are saying they dropped into lava, because you can't see the block immediately under the one you mine that makes you drop. perfectly reasonable i think, that's why most ppl use the 45 deg tunnel, and so they can get out after :)
