Actually, the man who designed the airship, Dr.Dorrington, is my teacher and personel tutor right now. A man that may seem crazy and strict at first but a great person that keeps motivating me all through the last three years here in Queen Mary. I have great respect for him. As for the guy in the clip, as Dr.Dorrington says in the documentary, he is tryly wise. The things he says all the way till the end are words of wisdom.

Sorry, I have no idea. In fact, the lecturer never really spoke about this expedition. I guess he's still shocked with his friend's death (mentioned elsewhere in the documentary) from a previous expedition in Malaysia since that was the only expedition he ever mentioned in my four years in QMUL.

Personally, I really doubt it if he ever found his family again. But then again, you never now.

Actually, he did. Afters screenigs of White Diamond in England and Spain, he got letters from some members of his family, including his mother and I think he is in contact with them.

this scene is a clip from heaven. every scene with him is incredible. my favorite is when he shows herzog his beautiful secret cave/look-out. he is the only hero.
