quick comment, while i know chord rotation is normally considered a positive thing, the segment from 0:31-0:39 feels like it is off speed because you rotated the order of what keys you hit (unless i'm listening poorly and you are simply off beat... or if the original song is off beat and you emulated that).

critique aside, I must say that I'd love to know where i could get an mp3 or any other downloadable form (audacity just doesn't give me the kind of quality i like).

as far as my knowledge of classical music goes, it doesn't derive from anything... I believe classical composition is a hobby of naoki maeda (though he may have derived this from something I'm unaware of)

If you listen closely, you can actually hear some of the melodies used in MaxX Unlimited and The legend of MAX. Since Unlimited also carries the main MAX 300 melody, it is assumed you also have some of that in there. This is probably one of the more unique MAX songs, so it's not directly noticeable, and hard to hear in this piano version. All-in-all... great song! *thumbs up*

You have to admit tho that the Nihonjin did come up with the dance games and that for the most part it is the Asian people who are able to concentrate on playing this type of game. Thus most of them are better than there Caucasian counter parts. You may be born with talent but you have to develop it first.
