  • @ElProximo 5 points for creativity though! I had to talk to my scientist friend on that one. Kudos.

  • @ElProximo haha I don't owe you squat except a thanks for introducing me to something new to learn about. It doesn't disprove evolution at all - organisms like the amoeba have been evolving for billions of years longer and have added tons of different genes over time, and this is why it is so much bigger. I do stand corrected though, older organisms do NOT necessarily have to have simpler DNA (the opposite, in fact). According to TOE it should be simpler organisms on the cellular level.

  • @ElProximo You're only proving how stupid you can be man. How low can you go? De-evolution? Right. Somehow the entire scientific community has never heard of such a retarded concept. Oh maybe because that would require the turning back of time. Hmmm, maybe that's it.

Genetic diseases doesn't mean de-evolution, idiot. It's a simple mutation.

Get some help dude you sound like a very mentally deranged individual. Is the earth flat, too?

  • @ElProximo How did genome mapping prove it wrong? I would bet $500 right now you don't have a damn clue what you're talking about.

Small compared to what? Small is a relative term.

I don't imagine anything - I examine evidence and conclude what is most obvious. You honestly think you're making points here or what? What's with you creationists just randomly making assertions like I'm just going to believe you? You do realize you shouldn't even have to be asked to source your claims, right?

  • "There are no older organisms" Wow, this conversation is over. Get at least a 9th grade biology education before you attempt to debate concepts that are currently so beyond your grasp it's not even funny - it's sad.

"shockingly 'small' and one example is the Human Genome which surprised everyone." Speculation before-hand based on nothing; no one had ANYTHING to base their guess on. Duh?!?!

YOU go to the hospital and step into a virus lab and they'll show YOU evolution in real time.

  • @ElProximo Wrong. Older organisms have simpler DNA with less basepairs and we can trace this building over time. You're making assertions that are 100% false and absolutely baseless. At this point I can't even conclude you're misinformed, I have to conclude you're deliberately misrepresenting the facts.

Degradation of genomes? If that happened, how would humans be around currently?

Common designer? lol... try learning a LITTLE bit about biology before trying to debate evolution, okay?

  • @ElProximo You're retarded. DNA was assembled as time went on and passed on to more and more complex organisms. We can see this building and passing of complexity which proves evolution without a shred of doubt. Besides, the bible doesn't say god created animals from eve's rib - now does it? So any way you slice it, even your own argument shoots creationism in the foot. According to the story of creation, we should be something entirely special and different - NOT sharing the same genes.

  • @ElProximo No. When you say I am wrong, you are saying all globally established sciencei s wrong. Talk about imagination. Micro-homology would inevitably result in micro-homology, you dense buffoon. You're trying to tell me after 150,000 instances of "micro-homology" no "macro-homology" would occur? Again... talk about imagination.

ERV's are irrelevant. Did I or did I not just thoroughly explain the process of genetic lineage? Can you not comprehend what "genetic markers" are? Google it.

  • @ElProximo we can see the history of genetic lineage itself*

  • @ElProximo And by mapping the thousands of genomes we can see the history of genetic itself, not to mention specific markers which could only be explained by the lineage of evolution. You're not trying to 'flame me' you're trying to perpetuate your own stupidity upon others as a legitimate rebuttal even though you clearly are intelligent enough to know your rebuttal is... well... moronic, to be most polite and not inadvertently insult biologically disadvantaged RETARDS.

  • If I lived for some 800 years I wonder what my bones would look like? Would they look like lucy's or something like a neaderthal's? Hmm.........

  • Talk about a great impostor; evolution can't be considered a scientific theory because a scientific theory must be adequately defined.

Since nobody knows what a species is, evolution cannot be considered scientific.

  • @jakedevon A species is very well defined:

Species: (1) The lowest taxonomic rank, and the most basic unit or category of biological classification. (2) An individual belonging to a group of organisms (or the entire group itself) having common characteristics and are usually capable of mating with one another.

-- So is evolution: "Evolution is the change in the inherited traits of a population of organisms through successive generations"

Where is this ambiguity you're insinuating exists?

  • @YourBrainOnReligion

    "(1)"

That one really doesn't help either of us.

    "(2)"

You don't have a problem with species interbreeding.

    '[3]'

That definition of evolution doesn't even suggest that all organisms have a common ancestor. Even creationists believe that traits change through generations.

"Where is this ambiguity you're insinuating exists?"

Charles Darwin, in OoS, is the one that first pointed this out.

  • Definition (1) doesn't help you because you refuse to comprehend how basic biological classification works. Most specifically, the concept of hierarchical structuring. You might wanna learn about that before trying to debate evolution.

"[theres no] problem with species interbreeding." But apparently theres a problem with you comprehending the word "usually".

"[def has no suggestion of] a common ancestor" Nor does the actual TOE. It's simply an inherent consequence of it, bright guy.

  • @YourBrainOnReligion

"But apparently theses a problem with you comprehending the word "usually"."

Strawman. I understand it just fine.

Evolutionist: 'And that's how speciation occurs.'

Skeptic: 'But they can still interbreed, so what separates the species again?'

Evolutionist: 'Apparently there's a problem with you comprehending the word "usually".'

  • @jakedevon You STILL haven't learned what a strawman is but STILL insist on labeling arguments as such? You're the epitome of fucking retarded dude.

"Way to dodge" How is that dodging when that was the crux of his point? Way to comprehend conversation you braindead buffoon.

Your biology professor? You haven't attended a biology class in your life. There isn't any feasible way a professor would tolerate your ignorance in class for more than 15 minutes before you were ejected for disruption.

  • @YourBrainOnReligion

"You STILL haven't learned what a strawman is..."

You're still wrong. I do know what a strawman is. But I understand that this is just a distraction away from the topic, the same as your personal attacks against me.

"How is that dodging when that was the crux of his point?"

The supposed crux of his point was that Darwin died before genetics? I doubt that was his point.

And I've attended multiple biology classes. You got anything besides personal attacks and strawmen?

  • @YourBrainOnReligion

And still your definition of 'evolution' does not even suggest that all organisms supposedly have a common ancestor.

Your personal attacks and strawmen haven't yet distracted me from the crux of the matter, Brent.

  • @jakedevon "Where is this ambiguity you're insinuating exists?"

Charles Darwin, in OoS, is the one that first pointed this out.

Darwin died before genetics. Way to stay current. Do you even know what year it is currently?

  • @YourBrainOnReligion

    "Darwin died before genetics."

    Way to dodge.

What about genetics supposedly helps you define the word 'species'.

My biology professor took my class through the problems with the definition of 'species' during my freshman year. His explanation was similar to the problems that Darwin laid out.

And still your definition of 'evolution' does not even suggest that all organisms supposedly have a common ancestor.

  • @YourBrainOnReligion If you you say you understand and know everything you should be able to make a cell out of goo and lightning go in the lab recreate the exact conditions you are 100% on you said it not me and make a living cell from that then come back and tell us how smart you are. Then i can say i know how life began otherwise its a theory and they are not fact.If you cant duplicate it its not science. If it cant be tested it cant be proven?you just say theory in case you are wrong.

  • @korzon This is the same type of dumb ass argument jakedevon makes. I will tell you exactly like I told him - but I bet just like him - you also will not be able to wrap your feeble little mind around this:

Because the Wright brothers were not able to fly to the moon DOES NOT mean that it is an impossibility. Let it swirl around in that "genius" mind of yours and stop being an idiot. So what we haven't created full blown multi-cellular organisms YET -- that means its IMPOSSIBLE? Dumb!

  • @YourBrainOnReligion Do you think all the real scientists are non christians? And the ones that brought us all the technology and gadgets cars fuel power computers are mostly athiests?Oh and we call A dog a species but the different kinds breeds. But when it comes to monkeys we separate them all into different species when their just breeds. If man evolved from apes there wouldnt be any more apes they would be extinct.A dog is a dog an ape is an ape a man is a man races=breeds.

  • @korzon Francis Collins is one of the most esteemed genetic researchers there is and he is a christian. He even lead the human genome project. But he also doesn't deny that the earth is billions of years old or that evolution is a scientifically proven fact. Unlike you, he has taken the time to educate himself on the evidence and did not allow his dogma to block his vision. I mean doesn't a simple paragraph like this make you stop and go "Damn, maybe I'm really confused.." ? It truly should.

  • @YourBrainOnReligion

"But he also doesn't deny that the earth is billions of years old..."

    Everyone is ignorant of something.

What real evidence do you believe that Collins could have seen that would show that the earth is billions of years old?

  • @YourBrainOnReligion And that science that makes gadgets please use that vast knowledge you have and plug that hole you scientists just made.Scientists + bankers funding them=poison the earth with oil.Science just destroyed this earth.Obviously we were better off without it.GOD makes a horse man makes a car the oil poisons the earth we all die.We realy have come such a long way with science so far in fact by using it we are all going to die from it.People wont be gambling they will be starving.

  • @korzon Yes science is responsible for destroying the earth. Nevermind that it was mainly euntroponuers who were the main force behind the implimentation of cars and all oil based crap. That's not relevant at all. It was all the scientists who were offered the jobs by these companies who are to blame - feeding your family is over-rated.

What reason is there to care about our planet when this life is only in a small sliver of our whole existence? Let that swirl around... it'll click.

  • @YourBrainOnReligion What reason is there to care about our planet when this life is only in a small sliver of our whole existence? Let that swirl around... it'll click.

That is why nobody cares because they share that belief let that swirl around what about the children they inherit our mess.Sorry unacceptable answer you gave for me and probably for most people.I care for my brother even you.If it doesnt get capped this is over.

  • Talk about a great impostor; evolution can't be considered a scientific theory because a scientific theory must be adequately defined.

  • "We're out of options for producing any remotely acceptable forms of *physical* evidence for god, so we're moving on to non-sequitur fallacies and arguments of ignorance and we'll call it *logical* evidence! Nevermind that it isn't logical, god cannot be comprehended with a sound, logical mind."

Funny how he refers to the termite odor as a chemical compound and not a CODE..... you really missed a creationist opportunity there Malcolm! You're slippin! :(

  • @YourBrainOnReligion You still need a transitional fossil get digging.!

  • @korzon Fossils? hahahaha.. we don't even need fossils anymore!

Most of the current phylogenetic tree has been corrected to reflect what we've learned through tracing the genetic lineage of thousands of types of animals, all confirming evolution. This is EXACTLY how and why we know it's 100% certain that evolution is FACT.

Whenever you want to pull your head out of the clouds - let me know.

  • @YourBrainOnReligion we can only duplicate dna we cant construct it so how could they even truly do such a thing? The only thing i heard is that everything on earth shares the same similar makeup.A bananna is close to many mammals in the code but they are completely diferent species.Until it can be explained why its different you can extrapulate and compare you are guessing because you dont know or its the best thing you can come up with. And that tree was corrected to justify youreself otherwise.

  • @korzon "we can only duplicate dna we cant construct it " really? That's odd, I could have SWORN this story was all over the news:

    watch?v=AvWaAsLxb_8

    Way to stay current.

"A bananna is close to many mammals in the code but they are completely diferent species" Did god claim he made man in the image of bananas? Did I miss a verse? Like I said - let me know when you're ready to get your heads out of the clouds dude. You're just being foolish at this point.

  • @YourBrainOnReligion We cannot create dna from nothing we need to grow it from other strands.GOD said we were made in his image that is not because of flesh it is because he gave us a Spirit and that is what he is.So again bannanas are close to other species other than men.Its a building block i can make many things from steel im a machinist but they are all made from the same basic makeup steel allum ect...same thing. My iq is 162 that was in highschool with my head up in the clouds my friend.

  • @korzon "We cannot create dna from nothing we need to grow it from other strands." If you actually bothered to watch the clip I just linked you to, you would quickly learn how retarded that statement is. We just created DNA _from scratch_ which resulted in the first fully functional synthetic cell. This was literally just this month.

"My iq is 162" You're a liar. See any IQ chart and see that 155-164 = 2nd Tier Genius (e.g., Nobel Prize winners). You're fabricating reality now?

  • "We're out of options for producing any remotely acceptable forms of *physical* evidence for god, so we're moving on to non-sequitur fallacies and arguments of ignorance and we'll call it *logical* evidence! Funny how he refers to the termite odor as a chemical compound and not a CODE..... you really missed a creationist opportunity there Malcolm! You're slippin! :(

  • Praise Jesus!

  • Chemical mimicry is an amazingly fascinating subject.. well understood and perfectly explained of course by Evolutionary Theory.

  • @SofaKingLoaded I think I'm going to start looking into attending a creationist college. Can you imagine how easy it would be? The test would look something like:

Exactly what sends the signals betweens synapses through the nervous system to deliver messages to the brain?

    [A] A toaster

    [B] Blueberries

    [C] God

  • @YourBrainOnReligion Blueberries contain the Code, or "Blueprint" if you will, for awesomely delicious pancakes.. that's why they're called Blueberries..

  • @hiyosilver100 Ha! Oh man.. I take it back from last time hiyosilver, you're definitely my favorite retard around here. Hehe.. are you aware of some scientific theories that HAVE been proven? Lemme guess.. you're also one of those dimwits that think Theories with a preponderance of evidence become Laws. You're so utterly damaged by superstition and literal belief in Mythology you've actually convinced yourself that your Lunatic Fringe of UberThumpers are actually Shaking the Foundations

  • of Modern Natural Sciences and setting Cosmology on it's ear while causing all Geologists to just throw rocks at each other in frustration and confusion..

When in fact you're stuck and struggling merely in the definitions and terminology..

Your Rabbit from the hat routine may be one of the most hilariously unintentional bits of irony ever penned.

Oh, wait: I'm an idiot. Never mind.

"The fool hath said in his heart 'There is no Osiris."

  • @ChurchOfKali66619

At least you know it :P

hey! you said it, sarcasm or not lol.

-Remember "Oh, wait: I'm an idiot. Never mind."

  • @ChurchOfKali66619 General question: Is anyone out there impressed with this goofball?

kali- get a hobby! Go away!
