Most if not all Christians are fucking up what Jesus said and continuing with the Jewish tradition of a jealous and murderous God.
Christians are dangerous because they limit peoples lives by threat of violence from God (though people say they live moraly even if it wasnt for beeing threatened to be burned in hell for EVEEEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oooohhh I am scared !!!!! NOT!!
Jesus tried to over turn those babaric and stuid concepts,
@Dacijo I know what you're talking about, but while people like this are unintentionally amusing to people like us who have "other belief systems", are they really hurting anyone? I just point and laugh and thank whatever deity may be watching for the reason to smile. Since supposedly laughter makes you live longer, I intend to live forever and laugh at everything.
As for religion fucking shit up, it's been doing that for centuries...nothing we do will ever change that.
It's funny to me that this is a satirical video mocking the "cute" cliche catch phrases that we use because we're too lazy to be original...and a lot of the comments are typical cliche responses. I mean, really, do you honestly thing that they are making fun of Jesus? Do you really think that they are saying that this is "Christian TV?" It's exagerated humor to make a point. To be fair, though, the video is not even original. It' sjust a copy of a video from BlueFishTV.
On the other hand does it really praise HIM to go and chase people off? I used to be that guy (except without the awesome shirt). It doesn't work nearly so well as just loving people for who they are.
As a born-again Christian myself, I can appreciate the video - although I don't know anybody like the individual portrayed in the video. I'm part of a ministry that holds three-day weekends where real Christianity is evident. Men pray for people, serve others, give talks about how God has helped them break sinful habits; there's an atmosphere of love and strong humility - and men's lives are truly changed. Sad to say, we don't see much of that on what passes for 'Christian television.'
You experience God affecting people and Christians who in turn are genuine, transparent and loving. This video is obviously not about that. This more of the mass marketing of a pop culture "Christianity" where keeping appearances matters more than changed lives.
True. Most of us aren't mocking the Christian ideals...only the social construct which has devolved into vanity and a lust for power and control over others. I have sadly only met a very few people who I would consider "true" christians.

Is being truly Christian synonymous with being truly diluted.
Gman01010010 2 years ago
well, first you need to ask yourself if they are diluted or deluded.
Don't fall into the trap of being less tolerant than the ones you accuse of intolerance.
psychomichael 2 years ago
pardon my spelling. Thank you for the advice, I'll keep it in mind as I analyze the arguments that follow.
Gman01010010 2 years ago
@psychomichael theres being tolerant, and then theres letting religion fuck the world up.
