Ah the Oliphant, designed by Marion van Ghent. It is a Dutch East Indiaman, one of the dual-purpose designs able to fight in the line of battle or haul great cargoes from the distant East Indies. In game there are 4 versions, the basic Oliphant seen here, the Heavy Oliphant (armored), the Mastercraft Oliphant (up-gunned) and the new Mont Blanc (equal to any 4th Rate SoL in version 1.5). One of my favorite in game ships.

Regardless of the Oliphant Indiaman variant, they are a once both a valuable target and a tough and worthy opponent, being a French Naval Officer in PoTBS, I have attacked enough of them to find that out, often the hard way, lol.

The sound is from the official soundtrack which was provided with the preorder version of the game.
