Marvin Gaye hated Lou Rawls, & threatened to beat his ass on stage at the Grammys, if Lou had won over himself. As it would be,neither won, I think Stevie Wonder won the grammy that year also. Stevie Wonder=God of All Music! There will never be another Stevie Wonder,once he is gone! Enjoy this great man & musical genius while we can!

always marvin gaye right along with lou...i love them both.
stevie is the best...lou was a great sport to take the phone call from stevie.
if my memory serves me right, seems like stevie was in Africa and they tried to broadcast from there but the reception was really bad. I think the reception went bad during one of Stevie's performances.
