  • Yes, we can make the world listen: by not shutting us off when we oppose of their intimidating ads (i.e. I Am Autism), and their mission to wipe us out. This organization has hyprocrisy written all over it.

  • If you use electricity, then you can thank Nikola tesla, inventor of Alternating current.

If you are using a computer, you can thank Bill Gates.

If your house is powered, it is likely partially powered by nuclear power, thanks to Einstein.

ALL of the people I have mentioned are believed to have been on the autistic spectrum, and if you really do appreciate what they they have discovered, you can start by not trying to cure us.

Maybe we aren't the broken ones, maybe those judging us are.

  • I am thrilled that the world community is helping with awareness and making positive changes for families and communities. We need positive messages and people in power to help do what they can to expedite research and find answers.

AutismSpeaks has done so much--early intervention, first responder info., support grps., walks, --all not available 5-10 yrs. ago.

The world must embrace and help each other.

  • Autism speaks does nothing more then strike fear in the hearts of parents, caregivers. I'm sorry but as an individual with an autism spectrum disorder (Aspergers Syndrome) I will not give to any organization that (A) promotes the pressing need for a cure (B) uses words like epidemic or crisis to demean or belittle other individuals on the autism spectrum not just low functioning but high functioning as well.... I hope to god that people will see your organization for what it really is

  • I grew up with AS and it has always made my life difficult, because nobody ever understood me and It was hard for me to make friends growing up. I hope that more people figure out what autism is and understand that we can't help it. As a kid, I was always stared at and was always picked on. People treated me like I was some kind of a joke.

  • Why don't the VIP broads shown here tell their husbands to stop poisoning our babies?

Watch my videos to learn the truth about autism.

  • Adults with autism speak, too. I am one of them.

  • If you want to help raise money for Autism Speaks, I advise you to watch my video on where their money actually goes, and my others on what the autistic community think of Autism Speaks, then think about changing your mind.

  • As a family living with autism I could not contain my tears. I don't think this is a lot of money. If 1 in 150 kids had any other disease it would be considered an epidemic. The time for action is now, before that number grows. Unless you are living with autism you can't really put a price tag when your child finally has eye contact, gives you a hug, or call you mom. None of these have I had the fortune to experience. I hope that someday he will.

  • That's a lot of money. I hope that the money gets spent on wrap around supports and positive behavior supports research as well as applied behavior analysis research to create real quality of life decisions and team building along with the medical and genetic research.

Real people count as much and more than the understanding of a disability. Both help populations.
