The whole idea of Jujitsu is to get your opponent on the ground and not let them up. While this may look "gay", the man with red hair is pretty effective. The whole idea of all that hugging at the start is attempting a take-down, which he did, then maintained control on the ground in the full mount position until the fight was called.
