Really good mod. I think you should cut the sword down and make it more of a dagger. With that you'd get more range and the dagger is more portable.

i think u should hav used a recon instead of a nitefinder put tha barrel break handle on the recon cut down the barrel so u hav just the socket for the plug on the gun then attach the sword to the socket (SWORD MUST BE SHORTENED MOR THAN U DID) and put a really powerful spring in it,take out the AR and give a brass barrel u should hav used the recon cuz u wont hav to take off the sword after each shot oh and make the socket and the sword really tight so it wont cum off wen u slash sum1

I like the direction you were going but am a bit skeptical about the solidity of the blade to gun coupling. It seems like if you were to hit something with the blade that it would just fall off the gun. It also seems impractical in the sense that you have to remove the blade to reload each shot. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of your projects, but it seems like there are better ways to do this.

From looking at the edges of the pistol grip, I think he may have stabbed the barrel break repeatably with a dagger, to weaken the plastic around the grip, then ripped it off.

I can't speek for Drac but I would have used the Nite Finder portion as the handle for the gunbade, and eliminated the ACTUAL handle completely, and made some kind of button to breech the Catch. I pretty much would be exactly like a sword that could shoot.

Hi there. I'd just like to point out that you're not the first to make a gunblade; not by a long shot. We of the Olympia Foam Society have featured gunblades at our weekly games for over a year:

- most of our core members own at least one gunblade.

- already playtested and finalized rules for how gunblades function in nerf/boffer games.

- we have had a tutorial for making a gunblade maverick on our website for about 8 months now.
