Hinduism is a way of Life, if we call it a religion i MUST point out that its the ONLY religion which doesnt have a rule book, a bhakt (a follower) can follow however he or she wants...by going to temple or praying at home or without it. NOTHING in Hinduism is Mandatory. Hinduisim respects other religions, All the temples are open 2 people of all religions...except few in South India, which is region specific.....So please...see the beauty in everything...like Hinduisim does.

Firstly lets stop calling it Hinduism...it's not just a cheap doctrine or religion...it's a way of life...Sanatan Dharma meaning Eternal Righteouness is its true name....Religion is a part of it and yet its not religion...I would call Christianity and Islam as religions but not Sanatan Dharma..it doesn't teach one to kill infidels or persecute the non believers...all it teaches one is to realise that humans are spiritual beings stuck in the cosmic cycle of life & death and how to be free off it.
