@London2857 I think Hugo is the dark horse for best picture, the fact that it won best director at the globes and topped the Artist in nominations shows signs of growing support. I think if they happened tomorrow, The Artist takes it, but there is hope.

The music throughout this whole movie was fantastic. Every piece did it's justice in setting the right mood for the particular scene.

Music fit very well to create the french-atmosphere and paired with the visual, was very enchanting! I honestly wasn't expecting much, but because I read the book (which was great), I figured I'd see the movie. I was very impressed with, really, everything about the movie! It followed the books' story, the acting and characters were great, had multiple references to the book's descriptions, it went on for a good amount of time... simply amazing! Definitely one of my favourite movies!

I watched this yesterday night when I came home from watching it in the movie. But waited till today to comment. Excellent piece of music, creates an eerie mood and also then slowly transitions into a French themed song. Well done... It echoes throughout the film. Oh well still good music.
