  • Lmao *tap, tap, tap* xD

  • is there a way to tell if theres a older printing or would you have to ask i usually just buy 1 and 2 but i really badly wanna buy more and need tips

  • are there anymore magazines that give previews to manga? Shojo Beat just went out of business (which really ticked me off *sob*) and i dont like Shonen Jump.

oh, how did u learn japanese?

im a big sailor moon fan btw. amazing anime/manga right there. i want the manga, but it would cost me an arm and leg to get it off ebay.

i hope i'll still be into manga and anime when im 26 like u. im thirteen, started liking it 2 yrs ago. still going steady.

    i subscribed.

  • Awesome! Thanx! ^_^

  • You're hardcore enough.

  • Can you draw manga? If you can, can you show us on a video! ThnxSubscribed!

  • I love you're manga guides! ^^

they very helpful and it's a very genuine idea. :D

and you are a shugo chara! fan like me!<33 you've got vol. 8 already? :D

    I'm waiting for a 4th guide! ~a very blunt hint lol~ ;3

  • And just to clarify... The Final Edition I'm talking abous is NOT the Special Edition you talked about, they are diferent things. Since the Speccial Edition, as you said in another video, are the ones that come with special content like extra stories, characters description, sketches, colorred pages and etc.... Right? :)

  • Regardless of extra content. Whichever version was printed first (as I said in this video) is the most valuable. Check the printing dates for this info. The extra content on it's own, however, is also valuable. Just a general rule of thumb is that the older the item is, the more valuable it is.

  • What bout Standard Edition and Final (lux, definitive or whatever) Edition, wich is more valuable? Because for what I know, both have the same exact inside. The diference is mostly in 1)Cover: the art and other things like beter paper or silver writing and etc 2)Nmber of pages: usually gets bigger 3)Size: usually gets taller and/or larger (not to mention thicker, obviouslly).

  • You just described every eBay experience I ever had. Some guy from Hong Kong ripping me off on a flute, and shopping around for three hours looking for a rockabilly style dress. Yes. I had to make the dress myself in the end.

  • dr slump rocks!!!!!!!!11

  • where do you get your mangas

  • Dang, I only have 9 books and does it really matter for a collector to miss some volumes out? Since I've got One Piece 15-17

    Fullmetal Alchemist 10 and 11

    Shaman King 2 and 3

    And Bleach 1 and 2

  • does The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi have a manga

  • Yes, it does. I'm pretty sure its published by Yen Press.

  • Yes. It was realised sometime this week or last week (in English, that is). I just bought it today at Barnes and Noble.

  • why would you wanna know about her breast size... great upload though ! its interesting .

  • Half the time people say that kind of thing it's because they just like boobs and think I'll like them if they compliment them, they are not under the same social pressures as one usually faces in "the real world" so the think it's ok ... the other half of the time the say it because they want to see if they can make someone mad, and have a fight because they are bored and lack hobbies.

  • the truth is, that most men turn into pervs in the net ^^

and sorry for my bad english

    nice guide :)

  • That's a very rude, yet mostly true stereotype.

    xDDD

Makes me feel ashamed to be male.

Most of us are in jail or Mental Institutions.

    :c

  • im male, but im proud of my hormone controlled mind xD

  • That's going to get you slapped someday.

    xDDD

  • it probably got him slapped several times before :P

Honestly, guys, it's not your fault. It's nature.

Oh, and the type of girl who acts all slutty then if you say anything about her she kicks your ass. I was friends with a girl like that once. I wasn't 'cool enough' to be friends with her anymore :(

  • Second comment reply from you

  • 36DDs, actually.

  • hey im kinda new to this and i was wondering if there is any good naruto manga and who would be the original or main author

  • the main author is masashi kishimoto and if you like naruto you should just buy all the volumes starting from No.1

  • ok ty :)

  • Make a video on how to take care your manga BookS...

  • I actually did start a video on that topic, but I switched to using a mac and haven't learned a video editing program for it yet... soon hopefully ^^ thanks for the suggestion!

  • No Problem... XD

  • Do you have Hunter X Hunter? Cause that is my favourite Manga...

  • do you live in japan I've noticed your style of house and all your manga is japanese????

  • i like your hair and outfit :D

  • i need to subscribe to nakayoshi....

  • would it show the printing on english manga comics. As in ... the printing of the english (translated) manga comics ????

  • Almost all books will contain some indication of printing/edition order. This info is found on the copyright page at the very back or very front of a book. To find out your printing/edition, look carefully at the copyright and printing dates, to see how close they are. Or, locate a number sequence, the lowest number in the sequence is the edition of that book. For translated items, even tho they were first printed in a different language, your English one can still be a first for that language.

  • visit this link for more info (remove the spaces): emptymirrorbooks . com / collecting / firstedition . html

  • sweet guide

  • i would only recommend Ebay as long you live in the US or live Near the US ..or else the shipping will just cost tremendesly high..

but of course..if there is like an item there you don't find anywhere in the universe except for Ebay, go ahead..:P^^

  • So shipping from Japan to Europe(&others) is higher than from Japan to America? I'm not familiar with other shipping rates, so if you tell me that's true I'll relate the info to my viewers. Of course if someone lives in Japan already, they don't even need to use eBay or yahoo auctions unless they need a rare item. For rare comics eBay and other online resources might be the only way you'll ever find it. EBay is also great because of 'Want it Now' which has worked well for me in finding rarities.

  • gah..sorry, i'm of course thinking that all Ebay items is from america .(Stupid me)

But my point were that people should be carefull when they'r buying items on the ebay and maybe like try to figure out were the seller is from.

not just reclesy buy everything they see.

    rare or not

  • omg i just noticed something.. Is that a Jigoku Shoujo pencil?

  • It is! :) you have sharp eyes!

  • ^_^ i dont really.. I just have the same one. And since you read Nakayosi i kinda figured.. XD

  • I see nakayosi! ^_^

  • good videos!

    ^_^

it's inspirational that you have learned how to read japanese!

  • I love your videos!

    I've been trying to get into the manga collecting for a while, but I just didn't know how to start -.-;

I learned a lot from your vids, hope you make some more soon^^

  • Thanks for adding this video! I enjoyed watching it :]

In the next video, can you please go more into the weekly and monthly anime and manga magazines? With the prices, age ranges, where to get them cheapest, and such? That'd be totally helpful!

  • Love your videos, and your knowledge of manga is very impressive. I especially liked this video. This whole time i thought i was the only person who cared about printing #. Whenever i shop for manga one of the first things i do is check the back pages.

I mainly collect the classic series. And few years ago was able to get the entire series of Dr Slump from ebay. And to my surprise each volume was a 1st printing from the 80's, i was so happy.

look foward to seeing more videos~
