@5370sophie - please report your side effects to your dr. Please also look at the Sanevax website and the MHRA website searching under cervarix. You will see that many girls are suffering with long term side effects, my daughter included. Together with your parents, please do more research before considering anymore of this vaccine.

Hello!

I've just had the 1st Cervarix vaccine on the 16th January. I me and my parents were a little concerned, because my next Cervarix vaccination is on 24th January. I had very bad side effects such as, dizziness, nausea, headaches, tinnitus, sickness ect. My arm that the vaccine was injected in, my whole muscle has inflated, and its very tender and sore to touch. The thing that suprised me the most is the 1st and 2nd vaccination is only a week apart!

I was concerned about the schedule too and actually asked a Freedom of Information question online to my PCT - in their reply they state "Surrey PCT is endeavoring as far as possible to schedule the vaccine according to the recommended 0, 1-2, 6 month schedule" so it sounds to me that having the 2nd dose scheduled only 8 days after the1st - and you've already had very bad side effects - then there is something wrong - 1-2 months was the recommendation. So be wary now!

@5370sophie Sophie, the Patient Information Leaflet states that you should not have this vaccine if you are allergic (hypersensitive ) to any of the ingredients. Our daughter was in a coma for 13 weeks after her 3rd vaccine and her illness started without doubt on the day the vaccine was given. DO NOT TAKE THE RISK.
