because of superstiton, the 13th floor is not put into most buildings because most elevator accidents seem to happen on that floor, even on tower of terror at california adventure, the elevator was going down and it got stuck on floor 13 and they had tomove it out of the shaft and made us walk back down or get in normal elevator to re-ride
