Yeah, there's tones of great rippers out there now, No need to look for Just aXXo\FXG rips.

Diamond, FxM, Flawl3ss, KAXXON, pukka, bald, devise, vomit...the list goes on.

So many people have gotten good a ripping, it's actually hard to find low quality rips...well no not really, but there is so much more to choose from now. aXXo was definitely one of the first consistent high quality rippers, who released everything under the sun, that's why he got so much notoriety.

Heres a few facts for you. Movies over 2 hours have to be 2 CD rips, each CD at 700MB, totalling 1.4gig. Not a shitty 800MB rip. MP3 audio is low quality. They should be AC3 encoded. the tag aXXo is for scene groups. He is not scene and never will be. the .nfo file is for scene groups also. He is not scene.

But sure, you think what you like because in the end, i have high quality rips and you don't.

I like FXG better, I mean aXXo is awesome and everything, but I like FXG rip style I like how he always adds the SRT subtitles on the folder, this way I don't have to search on google for aXXo subtitles. that's really weird lol....have you tried using nero express? Make a CD or DVD data with nero express or burning rom, it should work fine. I have a lot of movies from FXG and aXXo never had problem with any of them.

avi is just the container format, the codec inside can still be different, the last FXG release i downloaded was in XVID, which is the best codec imo but it is not officially supported by most equipment (as it is open source).

i still find it easier to plug my laptop into the TV's VGA socket and stream the video using VLC, I wouldn't hold your breath for xvid support
