I played WoW for ages and really enjoyed leving up thourgh the huge diversity of dungeons and quests. What I didnt like is that i had to be almost max level in the PvP brakets to be any good at killing other players. With WAR i think it lacks the awesome PvE that WoW has but makes up for it by being able to just run into world RvR from low level and gain xp and good items at any level. In other words PvP isnt just for the best of the best its for everyone.
@jesseZR yo there is barely any grinding at all. i got rank 40 in 4-5days. And i am a very slow player cause i leveld renown too. i am rank 40/34 renown. The only grinding u gotta do in this game is from around 33-38 but if ur in a good lotd group it can be less than 6 hours of grinding. It's an amazing game and it needs subrscribers. go play it :D
@jesseZR lol so many questions. Listen there aren't many subbers and the game needs subs and it literally is the best pvp MMO in the world as of right now. They also just came out with a huge 1.3.5 patch just yestreday [didnt go live yet] that adressed a shitload of balance issues. If you ask me its worth it EASILY every penny. The greatest fun you'll ever have in an MMO. However there are some class imbalances. Not many ppl play cause too many idiots chose Wow ove this, even tho its better.

yea theyre considered by most to be the best group healers in the game, and while they do actually make a decent dps class, groups will mostly want you to heal and they dont measure up to a straight dps class of course, but they sure are fun!

How are you supposed to target who you have to heal and target who you have to fight at the same time? I guess I am just to use to the old way of thinking about healers....stay back and heal. Or is it that the healer hammer attacks heal at the same time?
WAR got a little funny targetting system. You got your primary target, and your secondary target, Warriorpriests got abilities that, for example like Divine Strike, deals X dmg to your enemy, and AoE heals your secondary target for X dps x YY%. It's a spamability that makes warriorpriests very, very... very hard at low levels...
So, if i have an enemy targeted and then i click on my group mate to heal, every time i use an attack spell it will hit the bad guys and when i use healing spell it goes right to my mate? Sounds great.
You can have one friendly target and one hostile targeted at the same time. Furthermore there are some abilities that heal your friendly target or yourself when you attack using that ability.
good job, WP are fun... btw boys, me (a level 19 WP- all epics besides rings- dps spec) and a level 20 KOTBS camped the 10 players at their spawn base in a scanario. in other words we held back over half the destro team the 2 of us... but no keep rolling BWs... i love it when BWs fuck up my SCs!!!!
In order for a warrior priest to be an effective healer, he has to use his melee abilities too. A good amount of the melee abilities warrior priests have at their disposal actually heal themselves and their groupmates, making them one of the, if not the most, surviveable classes in the game.

Okay templars were formed as nine knights,they were endorsed by the church eventually and grew to a powerful force and played key rolls in the battles the crusades had fought.
As another correction they were techinically part of the crusade.
WP does not equal paladin, think paladin minus bubble, minus sheild and minus some armor.... but with increased healing ablilities. that may sound odd but a WP is sort of a DPS/healer hybred. just be glad thers no druids... lol what a joke, wow pvp, pfff

Warrior Priests AREN'T fucking Palas from wow, paladins from wow just bubble all the time.
if you just HAVE to link it to WoW, yes paladin would be closest. funny thing is that the only way warrior priests can heal effectively is by fighting. Paladins can be supportive healers without major issues, but WP can barely pull it off. They get HoTs, but just 1 shitty direct heal (which still has a fking HoT XD). They're meant to basically keep everyone's health bar a little higher, and possible avoid anyone from dying tanks to their "hit xx and heal your target's target for yy"

Actually around level 20 they get another ability that heals everyone in their group, and its not a HoT. Just spam that and supplication and your good to go.
the difference between rvr scenario and server is rvr servers you can kill someone anywhere and rvr scenarios you can only kill people during the scenario
the difference is , that in scenarios its always like 12 vs 12 or 8 vs 8 its almost inpossible thatits 5 vs 3 in a scenario. than in open pvp u can tap battlefield objectives and get influence for doing that or killing other ppl in rvr. also u more times get 1 v 1 situations there

the game can be played completely in pvp (leveling getting gear etc) or you can do pve like dungeons n stuff (i dont think they have raids yet though) as well as pvp. most people say that the pve so far is fairly basic and not as good as wow pve but the pvp is absolutely amazing

Well if your looking for a class kinda like a pally, go for the warrior priest or diciple of khaine. If you want a warlock definitely go with magus. If you want warrior, go with Black guard, black orc, Chosen, ironbreaker, swordmaster, or Knight of the blazing sun. If you want a priest go with archmage, shaman, runepriest, Diciple of khaine, warrior priest, zealot.
Really is no completely OP class I mean some classes have a pretty big advantage over others but then there is always a class that can take that one down.
i like the idea of the combat healer, and started off as a follower of khaine. although the wp looks less retarded, im not sure what the difference is. i noticed that the wp doesnt have a dmg add for his chance to heal on attack aura like the fok does. as well as not taking away their toughness and giving it to yourself like the fok.
so im wondering what might make them better, if even equal to a fok? are the more of a tank, and the fok is more dps?
Actually in this game running around gives you no targeting advantage like in WOW. However were you are standing allows you to do different things with certain class that can do damage from the sides or from behind. But a WP would gain nothing from running around like that
WP rule the tier 1 scenario's easy just get to lvl 9 get the 2h hammer that has 18 str on it and slot 2 talismans on 8+str on it(only cost 10-20s for those)then i slot +9 wounds in the rest of the gear could go all str tho but the extra health wounds talisman give + the morale 600+ hp heal & only heal your self you'll end up with 30-40kills & little to no deaths per a scenario run.
perhaps yu should fight steady...youre walking here and there....and gives us headance to us lol....
As a warrior priest yu should be more like a stand fast unit, supporting one and not a hit and run...too bad for a warrior priest hitting and run. Yu can hold many hits and still fighting with huge strength....think about it

the difference between rvr scenario and server is rvr servers you can kill someone anywhere and rvr scenarios you can only kill people during the scenario

the difference is , that in scenarios its always like 12 vs 12 or 8 vs 8 its almost inpossible thatits 5 vs 3 in a scenario. than in open pvp u can tap battlefield objectives and get influence for doing that or killing other ppl in rvr. also u more times get 1 v 1 situations there

wasd for movement, and numbers (the ones above the letters) for abilities
I use also alt+number.
for the priest I use righteous fury ability with "normal" numbers and alt+number for action point ability

me .....im a clicker i just cant get used to numbers...works fine for me, i mean it doesnt feel like it affects my performance any because im just so used to it....though the arrow keys, heh no no use the WSAD keys...that way when you need to straf the Q and E keys are right there

the game can be played completely in pvp (leveling getting gear etc) or you can do pve like dungeons n stuff (i dont think they have raids yet though) as well as pvp. most people say that the pve so far is fairly basic and not as good as wow pve but the pvp is absolutely amazing

Well if your looking for a druid go with the magus, they summon lots of pets. And Warrior priest and Diciple of khaine are even.

Well if your looking for a class kinda like a pally, go for the warrior priest or diciple of khaine. If you want a warlock definitely go with magus. If you want warrior, go with Black guard, black orc, Chosen, ironbreaker, swordmaster, or Knight of the blazing sun. If you want a priest go with archmage, shaman, runepriest, Diciple of khaine, warrior priest, zealot.

i like the idea of the combat healer, and started off as a follower of khaine. although the wp looks less retarded, im not sure what the difference is. i noticed that the wp doesnt have a dmg add for his chance to heal on attack aura like the fok does. as well as not taking away their toughness and giving it to yourself like the fok.
so im wondering what might make them better, if even equal to a fok? are the more of a tank, and the fok is more dps?

Actually in this game running around gives you no targeting advantage like in WOW. However were you are standing allows you to do different things with certain class that can do damage from the sides or from behind. But a WP would gain nothing from running around like that

WP rule the tier 1 scenario's easy just get to lvl 9 get the 2h hammer that has 18 str on it and slot 2 talismans on 8+str on it(only cost 10-20s for those)then i slot +9 wounds in the rest of the gear could go all str tho but the extra health wounds talisman give + the morale 600+ hp heal & only heal your self you'll end up with 30-40kills & little to no deaths per a scenario run.

As a warrior priest yu should be more like a stand fast unit, supporting one and not a hit and run...too bad for a warrior priest hitting and run. Yu can hold many hits and still fighting with huge strength....think about it

no they are just retarded monkeys. the game does not benefit running around like that for many careers. some do tho, like the white lion and witch hunter for example. WH gets an armor penetrating hit from behind. i dont remember what WL gets but its a few moves. many ppl who play this game run around like retarded monkeys bcus thats what they did their last mmorpg and habits are hard to break.
