GM closd plants in NJ. Gm didn't care about the impact of the closing on the people , state and economy. They upped production in Canadian and Mexica plants. Now the government wants my great great grand children to share the burden of bailing them and their corporate jets out.

Hmm. I don't know. These are the folks that brought us cold-blooded carburetor cars, brought us the Ford Pinto, TWICE got the country hooked on driving gas-guzzlers before energy prices jumped (one case involved a gas shortage of course), brought us the EV-1 and then forcibly repossessed all of them before shifting the focus to SUVs, and played media darling saying the Chevy Volt is actually innovative compared to the Tesla Roadster. I'm not exactly feeling sympathetic for some reason. =)

its insane, a large business, can't figure out the DEMAND of the "market" and adapt to change's.

a small business, lives business day to day.

if something needs attention or a new direction, they adapt to change and demand.

Good point chrysler is MBenz. I really question why all the bailouts why are they keeping the lie up for just a little bit longer what is up their sleeve we all know borrowing and borrowing is not going to work you have to slash and liquidate. The automobile is way too expensive in the 70's new US car under 5k w/ac now 12k for a US car with ac. I don't buy American b/c when I did the car's were in the shop too much we have toyotas and 30+k miles never in shop Saturn ion bad choice.

You should mention November sales for cars for GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, BMW and Mercedes Benz have all lost at least 25% in sales. Everybody is getting hurt.
