  • On many of my online accounts be it email, youtube etc. I put the number 13 in my user name and many people mistakenly think that is my age, but on the contrary it's because of this man right here.

I was actually upset when Evans got that number. The number 13 reminds me of DC and a time when the Kings were just that. KINGS.

  • Dont fuck with Seattle

  • He also autographed on of my jerseys of him and a poster, great guy, and as crazy as his wife was, 2 times i saw her with him, she didnt say a word LMAO!!!

  • Doug Christe, all-time leader in steals in Sac-Kings History

    2002*

whooped Fox's ass (well it wasnt really a fight, but Fox stood in the hallway and tried to surprise Christie, AND STILL GOT HIS ASS KICKED LMAO!

Christie was always my favorite, he only missed 3 games his whole time in Sac, and he came to see me personally on my birthday! woo lol

I think the Kings should sign him to like a 1 year deal to give them a defensive and veteran presence, and sign B-Jack, i kno he can still play

  • christie was a helluva defender and a team guy. i loved the guy always brought it in the court toughness, durability, and heart! we need christie to teach the young kings defense and what it takes to don the purple. the 2002 kings are a tough act to follow

  • doug , you are great !

    2002*

    you are a real champion

  • Hey remember when he WHOOPEd, Rick Fox's ass. I'm trying to look it up rite now on YOUTUBE. The night that FRUIT Shaq said, "Queens, Sacramento Queens", write it down, take a picture. So Rick thought he was cute, so Doug shook him LMAO. Then the whole Sacramento team took the fight to the locker room, GREAT night in NBA that night. Almost up there with the Ron Artest, Steven Jackson night. Take Care all.........c u laterz

  • I met Christie when in 1999 when I was around 10 years old when he played in Toronto. My Uncle knew him through his work, so Doug gave my family and I free tickets to a game and afterwards, I got to meet him. He gave me a signed practice jersey and signed a picture. He also gave me 3 signed game worn shoes over a span of 2 years or so. Great guy, and my favorite basketball player.

  • i remember him with the mavs

  • LoL brings me back. He was great player, and one of my favorite. I remember his days with the raptors.

  • one of the best players of the kings and of the league! Thanks for the memories Doug!

  • oh I liked him. He was coool

  • DOUG CHRIsTIE IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!! what happened to him did he retire?

  • He retired from basketball 2 years ago.

  • what happened to him someone answer?

  • Bibby Christie Peja Webber Divac... championship caliber team, imagine their bench was Hedo,Gerald wallace,Bobby Jackson. if they kept hedo and Gerald kings would have been a nightmare

  • dont forget keon clark

  • bibby, christie, peja, webber, and divac will always be one of my favorite starting lineups.

  • They were the best starting lineups in NBA's history... i love 'em all

    Kings rules !!!!!!

  • amen to that i miss all the true kings to bad we got rid of them.

  • bibby peja christe... that kings team i liked. i liek christe for his great defence

  • Doug Christie was a man with his balls held in the hands of his wife...She told him he couldn't get changed with the other players because female reporters might see his stuff...What a whipped punk..

  • Yes, he's whipped. But Kirilenko's wife has told him that he's allowed to cheat once a year as long as he tells her first!! That, is my opinion, is the worse situation.

P.S. I love Doug Christie. He is a great player and a great guy! Nice tribute, thanks.

  • D.C. will always be remembered in the NBA. One of the greatest dunkers and one of my favorite basketball players.

  • When the kings traded him i almost cried, and for what a overpair underachiever like Mobley. Then they traded Peja, they did't resign Divac, or Webber, and now traded Bibby that General manager should be fired.

  • When the kings traded him i did cry

  • Say what you want about his playing, but he clocked Fox and that's enough for me!

  • that was the best!!! Rick Fox is a Bitch!

  • One of the best Kings of all time! No question.

  • if we kept the team the way it was for a few more years with new talent we would have won...they had to go and break up a great team now we didnt even make the playoffs

  • So true the original kings were the best team in the NBA, screw the Lakers.

  • the kings were great, i will always be a kings basketball fan. fuck the lakers

  • LoL you fucking fanboys. The Lakers' performance stands for itself.

  • you mean like when the refs handed them game 6? to force a game 7. fucking everybody that watched that series knows the refs gave the game to the lakers. so do me a favor, put a gun barrel in your mouth and pull the trigger. cock sucker.

  • doug we miss you

  • Doug Christie is my favorite player, I`m missing him... I`ce been trying all the time his style of play:)) And I also tried to be like him hard in defense! Doug Come Back. Your Fan, Giorgi Keburia.

  • Doug was outstanding On D and his jumper was Suspect,But come on- your hero's wife Had him by the balls- Just Be yourself...And dont get pussy whipped-Stick to the script Homie
