  • yo Ghengiseanie, i get ya... but 2 step was just a little thing that happened, uk peeps tryin to make somthing happen, but uk artists like ashley beadle etc didnt get involved with all that they kept it real proving that "House is a feeling" and the uk has always done garage well! But 2 step was SHITE!

  • don't you mean dub step

  • Comment removed

  • @atlasperros .... This aint dub step mate , pure house/garage

  • Music liek this, pure and original is the reason I hated, "UK Garage" Two Step Distinct, 4 to the Floor Slowed down "Speed garage" Distinct.

Tuff Jam? Etc? Its just Garage!!!!!!!!!

Garage is as garage makes you FEEEEEEEEEEEL!

  • good point. should garage even be mentioned for that type of music? i doubt it.

speed drums it should be called... or something.

  • I know I first heard this back in 1994, but one of my stand out memories of this track was my friend mixing this with 95 North - Let Yourself Go in 1995.

  • tune!!

  • It feels like I'm standing in the studio with her. Like she's singing live right into my ears

  • Mood II Swing | Closer (Bass Hook Rub) | 1995 King St...this is the best mix!!

  • Fuck the Swing II Mood Dub. For there can only be one.

    Brap!

  • actually both are good!

  • Yeah, they are. But this is the one

  • too sick

  • i have this on my ipod, tune

  • on repeat in my car at the mo ;)

  • club uk wansworth.. for those who remember

  • Can remember being off mi tits @ Legends old burlington street, and tunes like this being dropped. Nuff said those were the days when we were kings ........................

  • classic remember jackin to this in lazerdrome

    This tune is the bollox

  • i remember this from the garage room... just about!

  • massive tune 10/10 all mixes

  • pure greatness!!!!!!

  • hEAVY!

  • One of my favorite house divas, right up there with Donna Blakely & Su Su Bobien.

  • This is a classic! Has anyone got DND Pick Me Up (original) on here? Someone has put up a 2 Step mix, which is not my cup of tea.

    Thanks... :P

  • The DND mix is a 2step version. I think you might want the Mood II Swing Dub that just uses 'pick me up.'

    I haven't found that on here...yet!

  • i love a disco rhythm in a garage house track! this is a gem!

  • 1994 Sound Factory!!!!!

  • For the heads:

If you like this track, listen to Mark Farina's "Fabric" CD. It's not this original, but a great remix, it's at about 45 minutes into it. "It seems that there's a world trapped between us" Ah, Mood II Swing....

  • I am sure it is a great remix if Mark played it! I will be researching that one! I have been a huge fan of Mark's since his early Mushroom Jazz days. Mark in my opinion is second to none and a true gift to the House Movement( or whatever you want to call it!) Thank You!

  • I can listen to this everyday and even though I can do without the vocals in the beginning, I know this is what House should feel and taste like! This is a true House Track. Thank God for House!

  • I listen to this most days still :)

  • i don't remember this personally actually this is my first time hearing it.very impressed i didn't know mood ll swing was this serious i'm fan now

  • This is a really big Tune.. People, you don't know how big this tune. The A Side, or the Bside are both sides. In fact such was the influence of this track that a Uk Garage track got made by a Group called DND, and was a massive Uk Garage Underground anthem....It was called "Pick me Up".

But they got the sample from this super classic track... It really is a classic, and can be dropped at any House club now. And the b side of this track could be dropped at any Uk Garage now....Its that good.
