@68bobba 68 looks like a 70 bro because the pillar thing int the middle is missing on both the model years the 69 was the only one that had the bar in the middle you cant expect anyone to know if they both looked alike. On the other hand 68 tail lights do look quite nice

Take the back roads and look everywhere, I know where there are several '68's that haven't moved for 20 years. ( I already have one ) look in out of the way places. You will not find one setting out in the open. Also you should go to car shows and talk to the owners of these cars, follow up on the leads yo
