I wonder if the world is the problem, or the fact that discrimination is promoted day in and day out, that we look at a person and immediately decide what they are, how they think without asking them anything, and negligent parents who either never ask/talk or the way they do it scares their kids away.

Drugs feel good(so I have heard) to the drug addict. If you base everything on feelings, then you are going to have some problems. Alcohol tastes good(so I have heard) to alcoholic. Just because something feels good, doesn't make it right.

Thanks. I wish more Christians shared your view and I wish the hateful ones were a bit quieter and allowed the moderate views of love and acceptance to be heard. What the video fails to mention is that around 30% of teenage suicides in the USA are gay teenagers killing themselves because of harassment and rejection by fundamentalist 'Christian' parents. This accounts for thousands of deaths every year in the USA.

I understand that, I've had a few friends go through it, and its very much shaped my beliefs. Like I said we're supposed to love others no matter what and the thing that annoys me is when people say that you can't be Christian if you aren't straight which is a horrible lie, God offers us all grace. My beliefs have really angered my family on this but I know alot of people in my generation who recognize how wrong it is. God loves them no matter what and we should do the same. God Bless.

Thanks. I'm very glad that change in consciousness is happening - people under 25 tend to be far less homophobic than the previous generation. The same thing happened 50 years ago when the young people of that time realized that the Biblical arguments used by the churches to justify racial segregation and discrimination were wrong.

I've studied some of that and the arguements were flawed as are the homophobic arguements today, we are supposed to love our neighbors and last time I checked there's no ending to it that says except if they're gay, lesbian, bi, etc. Also I fail to see how not allowing them to marry does anything but cause another sin in the Bible, premarital sex, I just hope more people come to see that. @kg31goddess I disagree with people who promote hate to others wether they are gay or not or wether they are Christian or not. But as a Christian, I can't be a pacifist either..God loves everyone no matter who they are, its the sin he repulses and He is giving us the choice to live by Him and by His word. For a Christian to agree on something such as gay marriage is a contradiction to their faith if they truly believe the word to be true. Romans 1:24-26 says it clearly. God Bless :)

@vichita2 I'm familiar with that passage & I'm assuming you are referring mainly to the part that reads "women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones" NIV, since the rest would not apply to loving gay or straight couples who want to get married. I'd like to point out with this passage that for a homosexual relations with a partner of the same sex are natural, relations with the opposite aren't; for someone straight relations with the same sex it would be a different case. And we (teenagers) sometimes get upset over small things. We get too upset over it and some of us think it will never end. If only people could be direct to us and tell us straight out that everything will be OK. I am sick of people hurting eachother...

I am sick and tired of news channels broadcasting terrible events happening at schools. if only people could see how desperate we need someone. We need someone when the times are tough.
