hyundais are absolutely horrible. i have an 07 hyundai sonata, bought less than 2 weeks ago as a certified pre-owned (the dealership does a "full, thorough extensive inspection of every part of the car blahblahblah")

so far the seal on the tire leaked and needed to be replaced, the radio broke, the electrical outlets broke, the power mirrors broke, the trunk lock broke, and the car gets only 20 mpg. NEVER BUY HYUNDAIS

I think the reason people don't like commercial videos like this one is because it's clear the video was made to benefit you, the author, at the expense of of us, the viewers. It robs us of the delusion that you're making videos primarily for our benefit. I'm not saying that this is a reasonable expectation, but it's one many people subscribe to on some level.

I have no problem with this video/commercial for what it is. I think what is so off-putting by it is the fact that this isn't what I "subscribed" to.  It's not Tales of Mere Existence - it's Hyundai. I think it would have been nicer to see this at the beginning or end of a Mere Existence, but meh it's aight. Can't blame a guy for paying the bills. It's just one commercial in many many great videos. Just my 2 cents.
