Great video and u had decent vibrato that's one thing u need to work the vibrato ur doin is meant to be wrist/hand but ur doin more of knuckle vibrato can be from the wrist joint and arm meaning u move ur wrist or elbow (which used to do arm) but not knuckles as what ur doin. Nice work and if u wud like I can post I video on what I mean hope to tlk soon!!!:)

My violin itself was 2,600 dollars. :O It was a gift from an older man who liked my playing so he wanted to buy it for me. :D Nifty how that worked out!

Every violin you pick up and play has it's own sound. Some of them can be really deep and others mellow. :D And yep, some of them just sound more cruddy than others, whether you learned a certain technique or not. :D If you want to buy one there are SO many places to look! ^.^ It's an awesome investment, though. If you are interested, this is an article that was in a paper about the man that made my violin.
