sorry i take forever to respond, I am rarely signed in to my account. Anyways, the wire I pulled off is for the license plate light. I figured at the time that I shot the video, no biggie, I'll just tuck it up into the body of the bike and stick the fender (which the other end of the wire is connected to) away in storage. While, I just had to go get my bike inspected and they won't pass me without a plate light. I plan to buy an after market light and splice the existing cable with it.
