Well, IMO, the only reason NOT to upgrade and trade in ur old ds lite, is to play GBA games (If that's the case, then play them on a GBA SP because it feels better to play the gb games there and it should be incredibly cheap now if u wanna get it, I would) OR if you want to play guitar hero on you DS (Which I wouldn't reccomend to buy if you already have a home console with GH, it's not that great and it's a little uncomfortable to play IMO) other than that, go ahead and upgrade!

no, don't buy it. reduced battery no gba port camera does not recognize your face for games like wario ware. As far as music goes it's not mp3 format it's AAC and yes larger screens but they look no better than your DS lite.

it doesn't matter that the DSi doesn't support mp3 music files

all you have to do is (and this works with iTunes) rightclick the song on iTunes and click on the bit saying 'create aac file' then when it creates it will make a noise. after you right click the aac file and click on windows explorer..i forgot the rest lol. but it don't matter search for 'how to put music on DSi' on youtube, it'll work :):):):)
