I never did understand pulling the plug on Plymouth. The brand served the same purpose in 1928 as it did in 1998.....get you into a brand new car for a few bucks less. Imagine a modern low-buck Charger derivitave with a Fury nameplate or a bargain Challenger sold as a Plymouth 'Cuda. In this economy, they could have been big winners.

Why would this even make sense? Plymouth is out of business and the Marque will not come back. Although Chrysler does own the name, so they could bring it back if they wanted to under Dodge or Chrysler.

For example GM took a buick designed motor the L36 3800 series II and used it in the base model firebirds/cameros/grandprix GTs/some buicks/some more chevys because they are all partners.
