For a re-mix, he didn't really do that much to it: just added some spacial stuff to the synth, and glitchyness to the beats.  A track as good as Geometry can't be improved upon very much.

I think there is a layer of refinement brought by μ-Ziq in the added synths; while the original may sound more like a classic, I still can't deny that this remix entails more emotion and even depth. The added synths bring a certain closure that, to me, makes a more attractive version than the original.
