@hcbially you can put the powersoul and curse ring on Tifa and then cast the death force enemy skill(protects against instant death) and Tifa will deal MEGA damage.

@oblivion495 you link it with a magic materia and it does the effect of that materia on all....for instance if you link all with restore..you can cure all those in your party in the same turn...if you link it with fire..you can use it on all enemies in one turn

OH! Since the comment box was being stupid and not letting me type further I gotta ask, I heard once that there is a time limit to defeating Sephiroth and stopping Meteor. I remember Red saying something about Meteor falling in 2 days at one point, but is there any sort of time limit before that? Or am I free to level grind and morph sources to my heart's content?

Nope, no time limit. Even if, in game, it takes two days, you can take as long as you want for any part of this.

Not really, because those two games are on two VERY DIFFERENT SYSTEMS.

They rushed FFVII, that's why it looks bad. The music is also slightly lower quality than the other two. It's still great though.

Super Mario Brothers 3 was released on the same system as its predecessor, and it has greatly enhanced graphics. Point being: when developers make a sequel, they usually try and make the game better.  Thus the improvement to the graphics in later Final fantasy games.

Small tip! Yuffie always seemed to do the most damage with morph. Tested on the monster in the small room in the wreckage you find underwater that turn into luck capsules. She would consistently do more damage even when other party members had higher stats and better weapons equipped. Thought I'd share. =3

Oh and one more tip! O: I feel so useful today.

I found the cursed ring to be quite useful. It increases your stats QUITE a bit and you can get around the Doom effect by having the Added Effect+Death materia equipped on you defensive slots.

You can also steal the cursed ring off of the ultima weapon when Cid is the leader.

I never did that Cursed Ring sequence; never even knew that key was there! I take it that this Cursed Ring doesn't turn into anything special after 255-someodd battles (oh, those were fun grinds..) but is just..um, cursed.  I do remember the crazy chocobo lady, though.

Never went to Cactuar Island, either..probably never flew over it when exploring..or when lost.

Actually, believe it or not, in FFVII, 1000 Needles is NOT an Enemy Skill. In most FF games it is Blue Magic, but not FFVII.
