I put in effort where I think effort is due... this whole song is about being Glad with what you got, so I figured not feeling obliged to impress (aka, wear a shirt) would be more appropriate. Its up to the audience to decide for themselves whether its dumb or not of me, so I'll take your opinion with the others.
