I had a tear in the meniscus. The popping was, from what I understand, the bone getting caught up in the tear and popping in and out. I ended up having surgery and the knee is better and the pop is gone.
My right knee makes a popping sound when i bend it and my right knee hurts when im standing for long periods of time.Did you have thiat same problem,IM in so much pain =(
I just wanted you to be aware of Ehler-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) because it's often not diagnosed and most of this kind of double jointedness is EDS it's just not diagnosed..Please read about it. Thank you.
I'm assuming you know this woman! Did she ever find out what it was that is causing it? The exact same thing happens to my knee when I bend it and straighten it out again. I ended up on crutches once coz the pain was so bad, but now its subsided it's more of a nuisance than anything. Interesting viewing though, finally I can relate!
