Hey, i have a dumbass question. i'm ordering this amp but at the same time, i'm ordering a flight case for it. Can you please give me the exact dimensions? i've been told the actual dimensions may differ from what the websites say and i don't want the amp not to fit ;)
@zajac1661 i don't think thats anything to worry 'bout, mine does the same thing. After owning the savage for about 4-5 months, it suddenly went mute. Turns out there was somekind of a power problem, so i would still get someone to have a look at it while your guarantee's still valid. :) had to send the damn thing across half of norway to get it repaired, and had to postpone all recording for 2 months! When i finally got it back, the "standby-pop" was still there, so suppose it's cool!
@olemoethorn Thanks for the reply! had mine sent to Germany, after it started making noise, and got it back about a month after. Damaged Tube. The standby-pop is still left as well. Guess its just my nervous parental instinct, towards my Savage :)
Dude, I notice you have plastic strips around the ENGL logo on the Savage. Is that to hold it on...mine actually fell off a few months ago and I stuck it back on.
@zajac1661 Serious? Not good for a German brand that prides itself on quality manufacturing. Te same things happened to me and I tried so hard to convince ENGL to send me a new logo, even when the amp was still under warranty. Sadly they tried every trick in the book to not do anything. They even asked me to buy new adhesive tape and redo it myself. Great brand, pathetic customer service.
@5150VanAlien well, its no big deal.. Engl lack no sound afterall :). On the other hand, i was pretty suprised how bad the logo was sticked on. Its basicly falling off by itself when you played medium volumes a couple of times.
