I live in America and love tea. I Heat My Water to about 366.333 Kelvin I then pour it over my tea leaves and let it soak for 3-4 minutes then filter them out I wait about 4-8 minutes for my tea to cool. It is about 302.444 Kelvin when I drink it. I let it cool more if I find it still discomforting. Also they do still make coffee hot here they just were required to post warning labels on hot coffee saying: Warning this contains hot liquids and may be hot!
yea its the temperature, green tea for example stops the risk of getting cancer when you dont have it but if you have already cancer its speeds it up.but what temperature is considered verry hot?is 80 to 90 celsius ok? shame i want to tell my father but then i would feel like sucking up so i cant...
Brilliant research. To answer the questions regarding why individuals drinking 'hot' tea/coffee are not affected - I think the reason, which is obviously pointed out in this video is TEMPERATURE.
@Reproductivist yea u are right i think cousinsex is the major reason for the cancer in iran.. those sickos you really must hate your future children if you inbreed with your cousin
@auburn722 they dont drink hot coffee in america, did you forgot how they sued mc donalds when someone poured hot coffee over their body and sued them? since then the temperature of coffee in america is lower then in the rest of the world if im informed correctly besides tea has different compounds then coffee
lmao i'm still drinking my green and manzilla tea. I set it always for 1 minute and 20 seconds. Only cigarettes cause throat cancer. whos care about health anyway? People make it seem like every food and drink is dangerous. It's ridiculous.
Thinking about this further I find this study way to simplistic, you know tea leafs are treated with a massive host of chemical fertilisers and pesticides. Also the water is chemically treated by water plants.
I don't think its the heat which causes a problem, if it was so uncomfortable people would not be able to swallow it, again the tea is sipped so its cools rapidly over the surface area of the mouth.
so how hot is to hot ? i drink a lot of hot green tea a day,but i do not drink it so hot it burns me. however, if tea cools to much it does not taste so good unless put over ice. where is the balance ??
@theewatchman i want to know that too, if you find out the temperature tell me... yes u are right the less hot tea is the more of the inner sweetness goes away, especially in white tea,, you have to drink it hot and i would like to know if 80 degree celsius is ok or also too hot
He should go fuck himself. Millions of people drink hot tea everyday. What a piece of shit for wasting 8 minutes of talking crap

so it is the temperature and not the natural ingredients in the tea leaves themselves?

so does this mean if I drink 1 or 2 cups of green tea a day, I'm gonna get cancer?
stonerguy19666 1 year ago
@stonerguy19666 no green tea smallers the risk of getting cancer but when you already have it it speedens the growth up

*Inbreeding.
*Poisoned soil/drinking water.
*HPV strain + poor hygiene/oral sex.
*Some drinking water and tea leves contain flour which can cause cancer.
*Chance (if there is a small population)
*They might not actually have cancer more often.
*The tea being a special variety
*The tea being prepared for longer or with more leaves.
All explanations that seem far more likely than the temperature of the tea.

I think this study is flawed.

Could this study not say drinking anything hot will cause cancer?
I mean was it the tea or the heat? I assume its the heat so the title is misleading.

That's right, it's the temperature of the tea that increases the risk of developing cancer, not the actual tea it self.
