Too bad about your ankle. The long leash is done on purpose. It's retractable. I don't truly bikejorge with the dogs. It's more like me biking behind the dogs and still be legal with our leash laws. Every once in a while, the dogs chase a rabbit and then things really get moving... I've been in a lot of interesting situations since I've started to do night runs. Fun.

Your tow rope is to long!!!
Be careful I broke my ankle with the tow being that long..
It give the dogs lot room to pick up speed the wrong way ..
