  • You should take your dog to a chiropractic vet immediately. When this occurs after a fall it indicates either a pinched nerve or other dislocation of the spine. All chiropractors must also be vets by law, so you can get a much more informed opinion with very little cost. We had a Pug that had this happen. He appeared to recover within a couple days but two years later, the vertebrae were still crooked and started causing seizures. One visit to the Chiro and he was cured. F.Y.I. This is painful.

  • My min pingirl is 12 and has had 2 episodes that look exactly the same. Otherwise she is very very healthy and fit. She recovered really quickly from both within a day. I found holding her against me like you did was the most comfortable for her, otherwise she looked dizzy and confused with her head swaying. It seemed to be worse for me than her - I was driving to the vet crying, and she was still trying to attack people and cats she could see from the car on the way!
