@Ebob101 With the latest update if you've taken the time and effort to save all the dart traps you've run into and you've saved the Mechanic you should be able to create an automated Dart Trap wall as a defense system. Combine it with a lava moat for maximum efficiency.

you can have your "murder hole" only one space wide to help prevent eyes coming in. or if you prefer to have the two space hole, you can add a door to also prevent mobs from entering the main part of your house.

@The1dragonsman He thought it came down as a drop not as a projectile. And it does work with arrows. Shoot some arrows up and if an arrow comes down and you can pick it up in mid air there is a sky island.

@p84dude easy to do, do a 5 deep by 5 long hole, put pressure plates all over the floor, and connect them all to 6 arrow traps which are 3 high, making them 6, 3 on each side

if you use a 1 pixel layer of lava it kills mobs but doesnt destroy the drop. simply sit in a cave with a lava layer above ur head for INFINITE FARMING

use mud/rainforest for INFINITE TREE FARMING
