just so everyone is aware, Sun In is more dangerous for your hair than bleach. it never stops processing and nothing kills your hair more. it should be taken off the market. i'm in cosmetology school, but you can easily do some research. spread the word.

You can use lemon juice, it works just as good and doesn't damage your hair.

@ashberrrrry It hasn't damaged my hair AT ALL. No split ends, nothing. It makes the shade that I want PERFECTLY. So maybe you got the short end of the stick ahaa. I love Sun In. My friends tried it as well, I haven't seen her in a while and she's medium brown maybe slightly darker, and she looks blonde now. And she likes it. Don't knock it til you tried it.

@chileanbabay94 I know you're asking Stephanie, but you could probably do different gradients of lighter browns starting halfway down the length of your hair. Like, first you could do dark brown, then medium brown, then lighter browns.. Dunno if that helped haha

I'm a hairdresser and I would not recommend using sun in, purely based on the fact that it contains metallic salts that react with other hair tints and could potentially loose you your hair if you colour over it. It's pretty notorious for hair damage, also if you keep going lighter with a dye it won't work, tint doesn't lift tint, you will need to bleach to go lighter x

This looks awesome! But just know that all lightener contains bleach (well, highlifts don't but still cause damage) and all dye damages hair! Whack a hair mask on it if it's dry.

you know that theres bleach in blonde hair color. unless the color of the mixture is some shade of brown or paige then it doesnt have bleach and will not effect brown hair
