It is! We only break real wood and looks can be decieving sometimes.

actually alot of breaking boards for martial arts are made of recycled wood. they're almost completely glued fibers.

These aren't.. they are 12" x 1" #3 pine boards cut at 12" for adults & 9" for little kids. You can tell the difference when you hear the board "snap" with real wood. And the bricks... real 2" pavers from Home Depot.
