Unlike what some viewers have claimed , I believe the pace is well balanced. I also agree on your view that this blends american and french minimalism quite well although it does remain a French piece in its nature. @llkim334 Thank you. I used a Yann Tiersen piano album published by UMP. There is a book called YannTiersen: Piano Works available from Musicroom that has this piece plus lots of others.

Jouez-vous réellement le morceau tel que votre cœur vous le demande? Si, oui tant mieux car le but n'est pas d'aller le plus vite possible. En tout cas moi je le trouve un peu rapide et je le jouerais plus lentement dans son intégrité et j'insisterais également sur un plus fort ralentissement dans certains passages... Cependant la technique est là et, encore une fois, si vous le jouez comme vous le ressentez, alors félicitation pour cette interprétation !

Awesome playing! In fact very few pianists change the speed and expression of the left hand throughout the music, and you did that (in a lot of videos the left hand keeps the same thing in the whole music).

Ehh help I dont know why but it is really difficult for me to get both the left hand and the right hand to play together I can play them both separately but i cant seem to get them together starting at :58 to 1:15 any tips?

@nhanthesniper Well, I'm not a teacher, so can't give specific advice, but you just need to make sure you keep the pulse of the music in your mind as you play (as though there is an 'invisible drummer') then both hands will follow the beat.

@mrbraio Thank you. I do practice the pieces I play and am certainly not reading it for the first time.  I am just very bad at memorizing, and if I were to do that there would be a lot of made up notes and harmonies! Although I think the music should be expressive, there is a certain mechanical quality that should be preserved - a little like in the music of Philip Glass.
