why is it that its the same people that get sooo offended by racially charged words and stereotypes are the same ones that go soooo far out of their way to JUSTIFY their right to use racial epithets like "cracker"?

the only thing a word can hurt is someones feelings. the only time i hear the word "nigger" is on MTV in the mouths of african americans. personally i think EVERYONE should be free to say what they want, but CHOOSE to speak in an intelligent and respectful way.

It sounds like calling a black person a nigger is one of the most effective insults a white person can call a black person. Your trying to read all kinds of things into that that aren't there.
