  • ARRRRRRRRRROUND THE WORLD

  • Lol I heard about the loop your telling me it doesn't work?

  • I have this pedal and I love it more than any other preamp i've ever demo'd. Affordable, great tube overdrive, great EQ shaping capabilites, and great output boost. I give it a 9 out of 10.

  • This tool is unbeatable. As it can be run by phantom power, all you need for a gig is your bass, 2 cables and this tool. no battery, no electro-plug, etc. needed. Of course, you can run it by battery/electro, and you can paralelly run your amp with this sound or you make a BI-amping by having the amp-sound on stage.. and adding shape to it through the DI/PA-conncetivity...

  • Does it support phantom power ?

  • @kuchilage YES! at that is the most unique selling point for this tool. Only IT and your bass (if a PA is around).. and you´re done.

  • Is this similar to Xotic RC Bass booster? I'm choosing between the two. I just need an effect that will enhance and sustain my tone.

  • @moronslave Check out the MXR D.I.+ M80-it will blow you away! It's got tons of gain, great sustain, tons of tone options and it's a D.I. too.

  • so being a "DI", this thing is placed after the amp before going to mixer (live setting)? Thanks!

  • So what's the deal with this page 9 thing...if that schematic aint real, how usable is this with other stompboxes in a live effects chain? DOes it still work like any other stome box effects pedal?

  • No compressor?

  • i have this pedal and it's very versatile. lots of tons u can get out of this little sturdy pedal. great one !

  • Is this better than the sansamp? I think the sans is way overpriced

  • Ugh. I HATE that elusive page 9.

  • does it also have that typical dry punchy sound of hartke amps and cabinets?

  • Page nine??????

  • So does this thing use tubes?

  • Just brought one home this weekend. Within the first 10 seconds I picked it up and kissed it. Solid build and exactly the type of tone variation options I was looking for. At a cost of 88 bucks I feel I have really done well with this piece of tone gear. I could say confidently, that you will not be disappointed buying this unit.

  • ...this pedal IS WAAAAYYYY BETTER that may hear on this review, i got one, is the best tone shaper you can find, every time i plug this thing on stage, studio or recording session everyone come and ask for it... its a demon, go get one, ..sorry bro but this review doesnt made it honor to the pedal... plus try it with the line output, I mean, I dont Care about the amp you are using, IT WILL GET BETTER!

  • cool review! I'm totally getting one of these.

  • I just got one, but it won't change the effects on my bass! What am I doing wrong? lol

  • OHH YEAH!!! TOOL!!

  • 3:22 The Beat - Mirror in the bathroom! classical 2tone ska tune! nice!

  • schism

  • 6:20 LOL!!! great review anyway!! :)

  • I love that Tool tune you played at 3.45 ♥ Amazing!

  • @Kilroyan what tool song is this riff from?

  • @beaviscommerford The song is called Schism.

  • Great review! Definitely will buy one!

  • lmao <3 great review and from what it seems, a superb product! I wonder how it would affect a guitar? :o

  • @vileguile4 I've tried that :D It does not change the sound that much. But you can use it as an equalizer, whereby it mainly effects the lower tones...

  • It certainly does fatten/tighten a bass up. It would even make a cheapy with a crappy pickup sound decent!

  • nice!

  • this is cool
