Jewish music at its best. A new sound and wonderful tempo. This song and Shir Hamalot by Yosef Karduner will certainly become a classic and will join with the great melodies of Shlomo Carlebach and other greats. I thank G-d for your talent.

you sure where'd you hear that? he went to Hadar Hatorah and often sings the Rebbe's psalam at some concerts and his music is deeply inspired by Chabad.
I share all true joy, true chaddishe but Karduner is Westernisedwith his music and it grates on my ears. What is a guitar in our tradion? neither Klezmer, Niggim, or any other form of Ashkenazi, Sefardi, Bukhari, Daneem, or Mizrachi uses this drek. Perhapos it is useful in that Ba'al T'shuvot will draw closer with something they can relate to...Then again I like that former Chabdnik Matisyahu as well sow aht am I saying? To each their own as they say...
@ rachamim- I dont understand your reasoning. What are you taking about? Music is a very important part of Judiasm and the Almighty has blessed us wit the ability to use instruments/music to outreach to Jews and up lift hearts.Look @ the prayers-many refer to harps and lyres(4 string guitar). What did Melech David play?
Hey guys, i stumbled across this video by accident. I'm not Jewish but i still find this to be a beautiful song. Yousef Karduner should really be more well known than he appears to be.
Yeah, its funny that you mention that. I think the intention was to have two people to add more to the stripped down sound (Yosef thinks that more musicians make the music sound better - which I would think most people disagree with). The second percussionist didn't seem to have a feel for the tunes. Oh well.
Excellent song. I had to listen to it again. Thanks.
